Also at the Legion, the Nantucket Skating Club, another long-time favorite at the Island Fair, will hold a fundraising bake sale.

Join Island artist Maria Zodda and see the puppet show and hear the story of Nantucket Elms starring Elvia Elm, the Giant Elm at Five Corners. After you learn about Griffin and Elvia. Children will make and decorate their own tree branch to take home. Elvira Elm will both delight and educate children about these special giants that grace our beautiful island.

The Clean Team is meeting at 8 am in the parking lot at Jetties Beach to cover the beach and all the little roads in the area, and also at the Handlebar Cafe to pick up trash in Town. Walk A Mile for A Safe Placestarts at 9:30 am at Children's Beach. Walk A Mile for A Safe Place is an annual fundraiser and awareness raising event held in October that literally has people put their feet down against domestic violence by walking a mile. Attend a free performance at 12:30 pm of the Stand Up & Learn children's comedy show at the White Heron Theatre, 5 North Water Street.
